BUNKA WOMEN’S UNIVERSITY,2-33-1,?Yoyogi,Shibuya-ku,Toklo,(Japan), has two departments, one is the Department of Domestic Science , which includes a dress making programme, the other is the Department of Arts and Crafts.
The dress making programme consists of five courses, Fashion Forming Fashion Creative, Clothing Science, History of Costume and Sociology of Costume. In the history of Costume course, students learn about transition of costumes from a historical perspective
The Sociology of Costume course is divided into two parts .One is to make an analysis between fashion and the change of social psychology, the other is to study the marketing and distribution system of the apparel industry
